"I am very excited to recommend to you the ministry and message of Rene and Robert Bloch and Beth Shalom Messianic Synagogue. I have personally known and ministered alongside these men and their families for more than thirty years, and I can assure you of the highest level of integrity and genuine love for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They preach and live the uncompromised message of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) to the Jew first and also to the nations, and any support you might give of time, resources or labor will not only be highly valued and appreciated, but I personally guarantee that you will be sowing it in very good ground!"
- Paul Wilbur, Integrity Artist
We have a great opportunity to get behind the purchase of a recently built synagogue and to refurbish it for the glory of God and his Messiah. I know of no opportunity quite like this in the history of our movement. Let's give all we can to fulfill this vision. I am totally behind it."
- Daniel Juster, Director of Tikkun International
"Taking new ground for our Messiah Yeshua is the passion of Rene and Robert Bloch, and their taking on of this endeavor to expand their congregational effort to impact within the Jewish community in greater [Los Angeles] shows both Faith and Vision. Please prayerfully consider what you and your community can do to be a blessing to them and to the greater Jewish community for Messiah's sake."
- Rabbi Kirk Gliebe, Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations President

Our Journey from Colton to Corona
Shalom and Blessings
in Yeshua's name!
Beth Shalom began as a home fellowship in 1987. Originally called Shalom Fellowship (lead by Bill and Nancy Rothschild), the fellowship met vital spiritual needs within the Messianic Jewish Community in Southern California. The early years were in Colton, a small city east of Los Angeles. By God's grace, an amazing opportunity arose to purchase our own property in Corona, California. Ironically, this particular building was planned and developed by a Conservative Jewish Community named Congregation Beth Sholom.
Taking a Step of Faith
By faith Rabbi Rene and Rabbi Robert made an offer to purchase the property and the rest is history! We believe this property was destined for our community. We hope to be an example and a catalyst to the surrounding Jewish community of Corona and beyond for Messiah's sake. The following passage from Numbers 13:30 has been our source of strength, allowing our congregation to move forward by faith: "Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.""
The Next Step
We endeavor to raise the funds necessary for purchasing all things needed to make Corona our permanent home. The cost of purchasing a new synagogue and making critical improvements is too great a burden for only a few people. We require things such as chairs, paint, sound equipment, carpet, and etcera. We appeal to you to prayerfully consider making a generous donation towards our new home in Corona. By faith, we stepped out and took hold of God's promises in the spirit of Joshua and Caleb. By faith, we trust you will be able to contribute to furthering God's kingdom within the Messianic Jewish movement. Thank you for contributing and blessing us in such a time as this.
